Bethune
Residence Hall, Howard University

An integrated live/learn complex complete with fitness center,
multimedia community room, computer lab, and its own café,
Bethune Hall will house 312 young women in its rectangular structure,
completing the fourth side of an existing three-sided residential
"quad." The building is designed to take advantage
of its location on the southern slope of the University's historic
Washington DC campus to frame spectacular views of the nation's
capitol. The project is a joint venture between Hillier and
ABA Architects.
