MANNA HOUSE: OPEN HOUSE APRIL 21st
Manna House's opening was April 21, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. The Mayor
and other dignitaries were invited, including Head of the Homeless
Services. Amos Bailey Arnold was able to be a part of this project
by providing architectural services. Seeing how important this
charity is to Baltimore, Amos Bailey Arnold wanted to contribute
by giving full CA services free. The project has been highly
commended and that is due in part because of our Fred Fox's
efforts toward this project. Southway Builders was another key
player in the construction. Manna House is a soup kitchen, shelter,
and safe environment for those in need. Not only does Manna
House feed and shelter people, it provides counseling and testing
services for HIV.

CFO Knows How to Put Out Fires
Our very own Becky Tims was able to participate in a once in
a lifetime opportunity, to be a fireman. The
Sykesville -- Freedom District Fire Department recruited people
of all ages to spend the day learning what firemen do. A selected
few were able to spend the whole weekend, during the day at
the Carroll County Fire Training Center in Westminster and at
night at the actual firehouse. For Becky this was more than
a learning experience.
Articles were featured in the Baltimore Sun Sunday April 10,
2005, Eldersburg Eagle Wednesday April 13, 2005, and Sykesville
Mt. Airy Gazette Thursday April 14, 2005. It also appeared on
Channel 45's 10 o'clock news Saturday night, April 9, 2005.
"I'm 45. I'm female. I've worked in an office for
